Ancient explorers reported that spaces that housed more than 2 Light Monsters were often so full of blazing light that they could blind humans. To fix this problem, the Large Light Habitat was designed, offering special transparent light shields to protect eyes.


  • The Small Light Habitat was introduced on June 22, 2012, as part of Game Update 1.4.0.
  • The Large Light Habitat was introduced on January 18, 2013, as part of Game Update 2.0.1.
  • On March 13, 2014 the Large Light Habitat received two upgrades, the first for Icon coin and second for Diamond, raising the capacity to 4 and 5 respectively.
